ABOUT THE COMPANY ÖoB is one of Sweden's largest discount chains, offering a wide range of products from home and leisure items to groceries and seasonal goods. The company operates nearly 100 stores, employs over 1,500 people, and has a turnover of around 4 billion SEK. In 2026, ÖoB will launch its largest investment to date in the company's history. They are making significant investments in renovations across all their stores, a crucial step towards becoming a leader in the Swedish discount market. We are now seeking, on behalf of our client, someone who wants to be part of this journey and take on a leading role in an exciting initiative. The project is expected to last approximately two years, after which you will transition to working on new store openings. ABOUT THE ROLE As a project manager, you will be responsible for the entire renovation project from start to finish. You will ensure that the timeline and conceptual guidelines are followed and act as the link between the project team, central functions, and external parties. On-site, you will lead the team, delegate tasks, and ensure that the work flows smoothly. The role involves significant travel as the projects are carried out in various locations across Sweden. You will be commuting weekly and need to enjoy a job where travel is a natural part of everyday life. In short, you are the spider in the web that makes the project successful. Responsibilities: • Ensure a construction and project plan for all stores • Hold daily start-up and wrap-up meetings with the project and store team • Maintain close dialogue and collaboration with the store manager, project team, and external parties • Delegate and follow up on tasks according to the daily plan • Ensure that the timeline is adhered to and that the team works efficiently • Assess the need for overtime and create the right conditions for the team • Continuously report status and challenges to the central project manager ABOUT YOU • Documented leadership experience, preferably as Store Manager, Deputy Store Manager, or another leadership position • Communicative and receptive – able to give and receive feedback constructively • Structured and organized, experienced in planning, prioritizing, and delegating • Solution-oriented and decisive – takes initiative and acts quickly in the face of challenges • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while providing clarity for the team We are looking for someone with the right attitude, drive, and willingness to develop. Previous leadership experience is advantageous but not a requirement – we believe the right person can grow into the role. OTHER • Travel and accommodation are covered by ÖoB • Per diem is provided according to agreement Working hours are planned as follows, but you need to be flexible and prepared for adjustments: • Monday: 09:00–19:00 • Tuesday–Wednesday: 07:00–19:00 • Thursday: 07:00–18:00 • Friday–Sunday: Off Please note that you are expected to be on-site Monday at 09:00, which may mean that your travel day is Sunday.
