Do you want to help shape the future of toys? Are you looking for a role where you can drive product development projects from idea to finished product – alongside engaged colleagues who are passionate about quality, play, and innovation? Then you might be the person we are looking for!
About the Role
At our company, product development is at the heart of our future. As a project manager, you will be a key person in advancing our product range and offerings. You will work closely with our designers, buyers, and suppliers – from early ideas to finished products on store shelves.
In this role, you will plan and lead development projects according to established ISO procedures. You will ensure that project goals, timelines, and quality requirements are met, while also contributing technical expertise and a constructive eye for detail. You will also work on improvement projects, supplier issues, and simpler tasks within graphic production.
Our foundation lies in wooden toys, and expertise in this area is prioritized, but we currently work with many different materials and techniques – providing great variety and exciting opportunities for development.
Qualifications
We believe that you…
• Have experience in product development, design, and project management.
• Have an educational background aligned with the role, likely at a post-secondary level.
• Possess technical understanding and a sense for design and details.
• Are structured, driven, and enjoy seeing ideas come to life.
• Find it easy to collaborate and communicate with different functions and cultures. It is expected that you express yourself fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Have a commitment and curiosity that drives you to develop alongside us.
Experience with CAD (e.g., Inventor or Fusion) is advantageous but not a requirement – the most important thing is your willingness to learn and your practical understanding of how things work. We also wish for you to have a valid driver's license (B category).
We Offer
With us, you will work in a company with strong brands and a long tradition, where play, quality, and sustainability are always at the forefront. You will become part of a dedicated and collaborative team that enjoys working together and sees product development as the company's engine for progress.
Location: Gemla. The position is full-time and may involve occasional travel, including abroad. Start date: by agreement, in spring 2026. Employment type: Permanent.

We develop toys under our own brands Micki, Lundby, Skrållan, and Rubens Barn, as well as under well-known characters such as Pippi Longstocking, Bamse, Babblarna, Bluey, Hello Kitty, and Paw Patrol.
With us, you will be part of a family business that has been around since 1944. We currently have over 40 employees, and our headquarters is located in Gemla, just 15 kilometers outside of Växjö. Here, we have product development, warehousing, and some production in our own toy factory.
After 80 years, Micki's vision remains the same: Happy, playful children in a safe world. Every toy we create is developed with great love and care for the little people who will play with them. With carefully crafted, playful details, we aim to spark children's curiosity, creativity, and joy in play. We also place great emphasis on quality and safety to create toys that can be passed down to new generations of playful children.
