You Will Have Many Contacts Both Within and Outside KTH, Work Independently, and Closely Collaborate with Colleagues in the Communication Department and KTH's Development Office.
Work Tasks
Your Work Focuses on KTH Alumni and Spans from Analysis and Strategy to Operational Relationship Building and Concrete Collaborations – With the Goal of Increasing Philanthropic Support for KTH.
Your Primary Responsibilities Are to:
- Identify and Build Long-Term Relationships with Alumni Who Want to Philanthropically Engage in KTH's Future
- Convert Relationships into Concrete Collaborations and Philanthropic Support for KTH's Strategic Initiatives
- Create Interest and Curiosity for KTH's Activities
- Together with KTH Researchers and Colleagues, Package and Present Current Research and Projects to the Alumni Target Group
- Independently Drive Multiple Parallel Fundraising Processes, Identifying and Packaging Concepts, and Developing Strategies for Individual Cases and Specific Potential Donors
- Network and Develop KTH's Alumni Relations Nationally and Internationally Through Activities Like Alumni Meetings
Qualifications
Requirements
- Degree from a College or University Deemed Relevant by the Employer
- Experience Driving Relationships from First Contact to Completed Transaction, Preferably in Fundraising, Sales, Partnerships, or Business Development
- Experience Identifying, Analyzing, and Cultivating Potential Donors or Customers
- Proficiency in Creating Customized Offerings for Specific Target Groups
- Excellent Ability to Create and Maintain Good Relationships
- Very Good Ability to Communicate Verbally and in Writing in Swedish and English as Required in Daily Work
- International Experience Deemed Relevant by the Employer
- Experience in Complex Organizations

Meriting
- Experience from the Private Sector
- Knowledge of the Academic World
- Experience in Fundraising or Sales
- Experience in Alumni or Fundraising Activities
- Experience Working with CRM Systems, Preferably Microsoft Dynamics or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Experience Building Networks and Engagement in a Specific Target Group Through Events
