What the Role Involves
As a project manager at Bharat Forge Kilsta, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and following up on both larger and smaller production projects. This may involve machine installations, investments, automation solutions, or driving other improvements in production and safety. You will coordinate work from concept to implementation, ensuring projects are completed according to plan for time, cost, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in engineering, maintenance, and production, and maintain contact with suppliers when developing new solutions. Upon project completion, you will be responsible for commissioning, documentation, and handover to the operational organization.
You will become part of a team that enjoys working together, shares experiences, and has a relaxed environment where problems are solved collectively and the work feels meaningful.
We Are Seeking Someone Who Wants to Drive Production Development
We are looking for someone with a technical education at the college or high school level, preferably in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, production technology, or industrial economics. You should have at least 3-5 years of experience in project management or production-related work in manufacturing, where you have driven projects related to investments, machine installations, or process improvements, with a practical understanding of production processes.
You should be proficient in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and knowledge of German is an advantage. Experience with LEAN, improvement work, or industrial efficiency is considered meritorious.
As a person, you should be comfortable communicating, creating engagement, and building trust in your projects. You enjoy cross-functional collaboration but are also comfortable driving issues forward independently. You are structured, practically minded, and like making things happen. The ability to contribute technically and innovatively to production development is a significant plus.
