Work Tasks You will take over the responsibility of coordinating and project managing one of the government assignments for county administrative boards - to spread and implement working methods for more effective consultations. The assignment started in spring 2025 and runs until December 31, 2027, aiming to promote an efficient consultation process during permit reviews under environmental legislation to achieve greater uniformity in work methods between county administrative boards. We in Västerbotten will coordinate the work, develop and implement skills-enhancing initiatives, and support county administrative boards in implementing and developing previously established working methods. The work involves being the central coordinator and driving efforts towards more effective consultations together with colleagues from other county administrative boards. Initially, the majority of your work time will focus on the consultation assignment. You will also partly work within the review group, focusing on participating in consultations according to Chapter 9 of the Environmental Code. After the consultation assignment is final reported in December 2027, you will become part of the regular operations, working with tasks such as consultations and reviews of environmentally hazardous activities. We are therefore seeking someone with experience in consultation processes under environmental legislation and knowledge in project management. You are communicative and enjoy creating and developing networks nationwide. You should also be pedagogical and able to create engagement. The work involves travel across the country as collaboration and training will occur with all county administrative boards. Qualifications We are seeking someone who has: - Relevant university education with good knowledge of consultations under environmental legislation - Multiple years of professional experience, from private or public sectors, in permit or supervision activities related to consultations about environmentally hazardous activities - Project management experience We consider it meritorious if you also have: - A B driver's license as travel is required for the position. To succeed in the assignment, it is important that you are communicative, structured, and pedagogical. It is also crucial that you are self-driven and have personal initiative.
