About this role
**Description**
We are looking for a communicative and structured project manager who can lead the establishment of a new citizen office in Hammarkullen and coordinate a local process to find new premises for one of the existing offices.
The citizen offices have a three-part mission. The offices are to provide community guidance, serve as local meeting places offering activities that strengthen democratic participation, and, in collaboration with other organizations and stakeholders, provide advice and expert support.
**Responsibilities**
In your role as project manager for the establishment of a new citizen office in Hammarkullen, you will have overall responsibility for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the project. You will work closely with the unit and the unit manager, who is the project owner, but it is you who drives the project and serves as the contact person for the city property management, working groups, etc. The assignment also includes coordinating an additional local process with the potential relocation of one of the existing offices.
You will also be responsible for:
- Planning, executing, and monitoring costs
- Carrying out purchases related to the project
- Coordinating the work of the support resources available to the project
You will be based in the unit for Gothenburg City’s citizen offices and resident guides. The position is a full-time project employment for the year 2026.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone with relevant academic education and experience in managing projects in collaboration with other organizations as well as union representatives. Previous experience with local issues within Gothenburg City is considered an advantage.
To succeed in this role, you need to be both driven and communicative. It is also important that you have a strong ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve goals. As a person, you enjoy working in a structured manner and are good at prioritizing and managing multiple activities simultaneously.
