About this role

About the Position As a Project Manager/Designer in Energy & Process, you have a key role in both project management and technical design/engineering. You have overall responsibility for the entire process, from leading projects from idea to completion, and ensuring that technical solutions are well-designed and meet specifications. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, organizational ability, and leadership. You will report directly to the Business Area Project Manager and ensure that projects are carried out efficiently, structurally, and safely. As a Project Manager/Designer, you will plan, drive, and follow up projects from start to final delivery according to agreed timelines and budget. You are responsible for coordinating and communicating between different departments, such as engineering, purchasing, production, and customer, to ensure project goals are achieved and quality and safety standards are met. In design work, you will develop technical solutions and create production drawings in CAD systems, as well as develop and optimize technical solutions to meet customer specifications and requirements for sustainability and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with other designers and production personnel to ensure that the design can be manufactured and assembled efficiently. You will also calculate costs and provide quotes for products and services to customers. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with relevant technical experience, such as in the design or manufacturing of steel structures and sheet metal parts, preferably with experience in welding or equivalent work experience in technical or industrial projects. You might be a mechanic wanting to develop in design and drawing, or have previously worked as a designer and want to take the next step in project management. Experience with CAD programs, knowledge of material selection, and experience collaborating with subcontractors are considered meritorious. Previous experience in scheduling and budget follow-up, as well as strong leadership and communication skills, are advantageous. You work equally effectively in teams and independently, and communicate fluently in Swedish, and preferably English, both verbally and in writing.
