Project Manager / Estimator – NPD Entreprenad AB Location: Sollentuna / Stockholm Employment Type: Full-time Start: By agreement About Us NPD Entreprenad AB is a growing earthworks and construction company that undertakes projects in excavation, cable and pipeline installation, site preparation, and excavator services. We are a smaller company with short decision-making paths, strong cohesion, and a high focus on quality, work environment, and customer satisfaction. We are now seeking a project manager who can also work with estimating/quotations – a key role in our continued development. Role Overview As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving our projects from start to finish. You will plan, lead, follow up, and serve as the central contact for clients, subcontractors, and our own work teams. Additionally, you will participate in estimating work as time allows. Your Responsibilities Project Management (Primary Task) - Plan, lead, and follow up on projects related to earthworks, excavation, and restoration - Serve as the point of contact for clients, designers, and authorities - Lead work teams and allocate resources - Establish timelines, production planning, and self-checks - Ensure quality, environmental standards, and work environment according to FR2000 and our internal procedures - Monitor budgets and financial control of projects - Manage changes and ongoing communication with clients - Support purchasing and coordinate with suppliers - Report project status, finances, and any deviations to management on an ongoing basis Estimating/Bidding/Quotations (Secondary Task) - Prepare estimates, bids, and quotations - Conduct quantity calculations and review documentation - Follow up on prices, supplier quotes, and production costs - Support management in pricing and project selection Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. You need to be able to build good relationships – both with clients and internally – and communicate clearly with our skilled workers in the field. We seek candidates who have: - Experience as a project manager, site manager, or similar in earthworks/construction - A good understanding of excavation, restoration, cable, and earthworks - Basic knowledge in estimating and quantity take-offs (or a willingness to learn) - The ability to maintain structure and plan multiple projects simultaneously - Strong social skills and a professional demeanor towards clients and stakeholders - The ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with our work teams in the field - Good communication skills in Swedish and a confident leadership style - A valid driver's license (B) Meritorious - Experience with AMA Construction and EBR Cable Installation - Experience working in smaller organizations where one takes responsibility and initiates actions - Experience with traffic plans - Experience with SmartDok or similar systems We Offer - An important key role in a growing company - Significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence - A good work environment with a family-like atmosphere and quick decision-making - Company car - Opportunities for further education in project management, estimating, and quality/environmental management - Administrative assistance
