Railway Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager for technology, strategy, and railway investigations for an authority within transportation. This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Stockholm. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires a high level of flexibility and teamwork. **The Assignment** As the Project Manager for technology, strategy, and railway investigations, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating projects that involve multiple technology areas within the railway system, as well as supporting the technical teams in larger projects. The role includes many points of contact with technical managers, section management, and other functions. You will also support, coordinate, and ensure the quality of management plans, lead quality forums, analyze long-term reinvestment needs, and drive investigation and development assignments within asset management. **Responsibilities** - Drive and coordinate projects involving multiple technology areas - Support technical teams in more extensive projects - Support, coordinate, and ensure the quality of management plans within the railway system - Lead quality forums - Analyze the long-term reinvestment needs of the transportation system - Drive various investigation and development assignments within asset management **Requirements (Mandatory)** - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written - Experience working with technical issues within any form of railway system (e.g., conventional railway, subway, or tram), at least 5 years - Experience working as a manager or project manager for a total of at least 5 years - Experience working in politically governed operations for a total of at least 2 years - Experience coordinating between at least 3 different technology areas for a total of at least 4 years (e.g., track, electrical, signaling, and telecommunications) **Desirable** - Experience working in contractual relationships between asset owners and contractors for at least 4 years - Experience working as a project manager in early phases for at least 1 year - Experience preparing decision documents and/or contracts in public administration for at least 2 years - Academic education at a college or university (not a vocational school) in technology of at least 180 credits **Personal Attributes** - Proactive and results-oriented – creates progress and delivers - Systematic and structured in approach - Easy to collaborate with and builds good relationships within teams - Communicates clearly and adapts messages to the needs of the audience - Strategic and long-term in thinking **About Us** Centio's overarching goal is to be a consulting company that offers smart and sustainable solutions that positively develop society.
