Railway Project Manager

We are looking for a Railway Project Manager for multiple projects within Investment Eastern Region at the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Stockholm. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires a high level of flexibility and teamwork. Assignment The Railway Project Manager within Investment Eastern Region is responsible for leading, managing, and monitoring railway projects through all project phases, from planning and design to production and handover to management. The role involves leading project teams, ensuring time, cost, and quality, managing risks, and communicating and consulting with authorities and other stakeholders. The Project Manager contributes motivation and inspiration to the team and transfers knowledge to employees at Trafikverket. Responsibilities - Be a leader without managerial responsibility for a number of employees. - Lead projects of varying size and complexity or sub-projects within larger projects. - Create an engaged, creative, and productive environment through leadership. - Lead projects with a focus on time, cost, and content. - Utilize proven experience and established methods tailored to the project's conditions. - Gather and build knowledge and experience in projects and project management. - Monitor the needs of the external environment and take these into account in the project. - Understand the specific conditions of each project. - Be responsible for external contacts with the public, municipalities, and other stakeholders. - Conduct consultations that benefit the project and society. - Act commercially in relation to suppliers. - Collaborate and consult with relevant suppliers to ensure goal fulfillment and good economy. - Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with laws, regulations, guidelines, ordinances, and internal work instructions. Requirements (mandatory) - At least 10 years of experience in leading roles (project manager/sub-project manager) in railway projects. - At least 5 years of experience in complex projects in extremely traffic- and coordination-dense railway environments, such as the SL area. - B driver's license. - Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Meritorious - You have, as a project manager, completed complex railway projects in the Stockholm commuter train network. - You have at least 5 years of experience in financial follow-up in assignments involving BEST works (Track, Electrical, Signal, and Telecommunication) in the role of project manager. - You have, as a project manager in railway, completed at least one project that included design and production, encompassed all railway technical disciplines, and had a budget of at least 150 million SEK. - You have worked as a project manager on the client side (Trafikverket or similar) with railway projects for at least 5 years in the last 10 years. - Education in standard agreements ABK09, AB04, and ABT06. - Training/course in AMA construction 23.
