Ref: 20252531 Job Description As a project leader, you will drive the work to establish methods, processes, and routines, as well as manage specific cases from needs assessment to administration. You will have close contact with the organization on both specific cases and strategic considerations, where your IT expertise will be a valuable resource. In this role, you will have several important responsibilities, including: • Establishing a process for managing new digital needs, from needs assessment and prioritization to implementation and administration. • Leading procurement projects for digital tools and services. • Implementing new solutions and driving major changes within existing digital systems while supporting the organization in the process. • Collaborating in setting requirements towards existing suppliers and Malmö City's central IT function. • Contributing to the design of an effective system administration, including guidelines for software management. • Promoting an optimal digital working environment for the primary school administration. As a project leader, you will plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently and ensure that deadlines are met. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach, with both the interest and willingness to assist others and deliver solutions. You excel at managing complex issues, analyzing and breaking down problems into their components, and finding paths forward in complicated situations. With clear and engaging communication, you contribute to dialogue and accountability while having the courage to act on your convictions. Qualifications Requirements: • Academic education equivalent to a Bachelor's degree (180 credits) with a focus on IT, system science, or other training deemed equivalent by the employer. • Two years of experience working in the relevant field. • Excellent digital competence. • Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Desirable: • Experience with agile methodologies in IT. • Experience in public procurement. • Experience in system administration. • Experience in data protection and information security. • Experience in service design and user-centered development. About the Workplace The Digital Service and Systems Support unit is part of the IT and Digitalization Department. The section plays a crucial role in supporting schools with the operational systems—such as the learning platform and the child and student registry—provided by the administration, as well as with centrally managed educational digital services. The section collaborates closely with the system administration section, which is also part of the unit but shared among the three school administrations. The primary school administration is the city's largest department with approximately 80 schools, 6,500 employees, and 36,000 students, offering a workplace for everyone.
