Project Manager for Educational Facilities

The Projects and Investments Department has the important mission of implementing new construction, renovation, and maintenance projects to meet the city's needs for schools, preschools, elderly care facilities, and specialized housing. In total, the Projects and Investments Department manages around 1,000 projects in various stages of the construction process, from preliminary studies to handover and warranty management. The department currently has a turnover of nearly three billion per year. We are now seeking a Project Manager for our educational properties area. As a Project Manager, you will drive both smaller and larger new investment and maintenance projects, as well as renovations and extensions of the existing property portfolio. In your role as Project Manager, you will have a leading and coordinating role to independently manage construction and property projects and have overall responsibility for quality, time and cost management, follow-up, and customer contact. Your tasks will include: • Responsibility for preliminary studies, project design, and creating the right product for our customers • Coordinate consultants and project members • Responsible for implementing construction projects • Perform financial and time management • Conduct experience feedback The position is a temporary assignment for approximately 1 year. Qualifications For the Project Manager role, you need to have at least three years of experience as a project manager with independent result responsibility and good knowledge of construction law, PBL (Planning and Building Act), and the construction process. The role requires a relevant university degree and previous experience in construction projects and project management, either as a consultant, contractor, or in a client role. Other equivalent education combined with qualified experience may also be considered. The position also requires a B driver's license and good knowledge of the Office package.
