About the Position
As a project manager, you will take full responsibility for planning, implementation, and follow-up of complex technology projects aimed at developing systems such as submarines, unmanned vessels, and submarine rescue systems. You will lead dedicated project teams, work cross-technically, and collaborate with experts and suppliers in areas including system safety, automation, structural integrity, and sustainable maintenance solutions (ILS) as well as cross-technical requirement work. You will become a key person in coordinating technical integration work and ensuring that requirements, quality, and timelines are maintained throughout delivery. With your technical understanding and project management experience, you will transform requirements into practical and sustainable solutions.
The role also involves analyzing and reporting decision-making data, driving verification and validation work, and proactively managing risks to prevent deviations and ensure progress. About You
We are seeking candidates with a civil or university engineering degree, or other relevant education for the field, or equivalent competence acquired through other means. Additionally, you should have project management training or equivalent knowledge gained elsewhere. You have several years of current and relevant knowledge and experience leading projects with subordinate project team members. To succeed in the role, it is necessary to have several years of experience in integration work and cross-technical understanding of areas such as system safety, maintenance solutions (ILS), structural integrity, automation, cross-technical requirement work, etc. A fundamental requirement is current and relevant experience in system procurement from a technical perspective, involving supplier contact.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience working in the technical area of underwater systems and/or technical system work. We look positively on experience using project planning tools like MS Project or similar, and having been involved in negotiations. Knowledge of systems engineering is also meritorious. The position requires you to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
