Our Operations The Licensing Department's mission is to promote safe and effective medicines through licensing, advice, and information. The department consists of approximately 370 employees and has a staff of nine led by a unit manager. The staff's role is to assist the director with operational support for the management, coordination, and follow-up of the operations. Your Responsibilities Your primary assignment and responsibility will be to operationally lead, drive, and coordinate projects and assignments that often take place in cross-functional working groups. The content of the projects may vary over time and be linked to both internal and external assignments. Examples of tasks that may be relevant include: • Leading and reporting on government assignments, • Implementing new regulations, • Coordinating internal development activities regarding processes and working methods, and • Leading efficiency and change initiatives. The tasks are carried out independently and involve, in addition to project management and coordination, personal work within the framework of the assignment. The work includes a high degree of collaboration, both internally and externally, with other authorities and stakeholders, as well as responsibility for implementing external communication efforts related to the assignment. Your Background We are looking for someone with a university degree relevant to the work. You have experience working as a project manager in knowledge-intensive operations within Life Science. You have documented experience in driving projects from start to finish, possess a good ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of work, and have solid knowledge in driving business development. Experience with IT components and/or relevant experience from working in a government agency is an advantage. The tasks require you to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You have the ability to compile and present information in an accessible manner.
