Project Manager in Energy for Property Technology

Your Role with Us We are seeking a new Project Manager in Energy for our project unit following a retirement. You will join a team of committed, knowledgeable, and responsible colleagues. The team consists of 17 employees, including construction project managers and specialists in CAD, access control, electricity, control systems, HVAC, and energy. The team also provides expert knowledge to three operational units within the property department. You will work on inventorying and project managing energy measures in the municipality's property portfolio. Tasks include establishing specifications, conducting investigations, design, procurement, control, change management, inspection, commissioning, and warranty issues. Matters relating to AMA, PBL, BBR, construction work environment according to AML, and contract law are common. As an Energy Project Manager, you will both be the group's energy expert and develop your own energy efficiency projects, primarily through optimization and renovation of technical systems in the existing property portfolio. The role involves both budget and implementation responsibilities through annual allocated funds for energy project development. Projects are carried out with a strong focus on quality, time planning, and economics. Who Are We Looking For? You should have education in the energy field and/or equivalent knowledge acquired through relevant work experience. We want you to have at least five years of professional experience in the energy sector, including design related to the construction and property industry as a client, construction contractor, and/or consultant. Experience with operational organizations managing facilities is an advantage. We prefer candidates with good knowledge of BBR and experience with LOU. Experience working in a politically governed organization is also meritorious. Naturally, you handle IT tools in your daily work, and previous experience with property systems such as Vitec is an advantage. You communicate easily in both speech and writing in Swedish, as communication and documentation are part of the job duties. You should have a B driver's license to easily travel around the municipality as needed. You are a driven, committed, and loyal person with the ability to work independently under your own responsibility. You are structured with good analytical skills, can see the big picture, and are solution-oriented. About Us The Technical Committee is responsible through the technical administration for the development, construction, and management of the municipality's public spaces and buildings. The committee also has the task of organizing municipal water and sewage supply (VA) and is the road maintenance authority for municipal roads.
