**Project Manager for Electrical Design, Road Lighting**
**Responsibilities**
As a project manager for the design of electrical installations, primarily road lighting systems, you will have a clear focus on technology and installations. You will work collaboratively in teams on various projects related to maintenance and renovation of electrical installations on our road network. You will contribute motivation and inspiration to the unit's project teams and foster a positive work environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing designs and conducting investigations of combined electrical installations
- Designing road lighting installations
- Managing internal matters related to needs assessments
The work is varied, with days spent in the office on administrative tasks and physical or digital meetings in collaboration with your colleagues. Other days may involve being out in the field to investigate and plan for upcoming measures, collaborating on-site with various parties. The position will therefore involve some travel throughout the region.
In your role as a project manager in the Swedish Transport Administration, you will support project teams with technical expertise regarding the design of electrical installations. You will be an important resource for planning, monitoring, and analyzing construction work, where you will have contacts with municipalities, contractors, construction managers, and the public. You may also lead your own projects for reinvestment work.
You will belong to the Infrasystem unit, which consists of about ten employees across Northern Sweden. The unit has a wide range of technical systems, including traffic equipment, camera surveillance, water and sewage systems, control and regulation, lighting, traffic detectors, weather systems, and traffic information.

- At least a high school education with a focus on electrical engineering or equivalent education and experience that can be assessed as comparable
- Relevant experience working as a project manager, client, or contractor, or as a project leader at a consulting firm
- Relevant and current experience in the maintenance and/or construction of electrical installations
- Good ability to familiarize yourself with computer systems and is a proficient user of the Office suite and AutoCAD or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- A valid driver's license for passenger cars
It is also desirable if you have:
- Current experience in project management or construction management related to road lighting
- Experience in the design of electrical and road lighting installations in AutoCAD and Dialux or equivalent systems
- Current experience in the inspection of electrical installations
- Knowledge of contract law
- Experience working in the maintenance system Maximo
- Certification for low-voltage installations
