About this role
**Description**
We are currently seeking an experienced project manager for a role in delivery projects within a technically advanced organization. The role involves leading and driving projects through various phases – from initiation to completion – with a focus on quality, budget, timeline, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with both clients and internal engineering teams, ensuring that all projects are executed in accordance with applicable guidelines, standards, and agreements. This assignment is suitable for someone who wants to take overall responsibility for multiple parallel projects and further develop in a growing and international environment.
**Responsibilities**
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of medium-sized delivery projects and internal projects, coordinating the project team's work, and allocating resources and tasks. You will drive project progress by monitoring timelines, costs, quality, and safety requirements, while also managing contracts, any deviations, and communications with clients and suppliers. The assignment also includes financial follow-up such as WBS structure, forecasting, invoicing plans, and handling purchases and invoices. You are responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to technical requirements, as well as providing continuous feedback to internal and external stakeholders regarding status and deliveries. The work involves simultaneously leading and following up on several projects in different phases.
**Qualifications**
- At least three years of experience leading projects of varying size, complexity, and contractual forms
- Academic degree in engineering or equivalent, or a technical educational background with 10–15 years of relevant experience
- Certification as HITACHI ENERGY Project Manager, PMP, or IPMA C/D
- Good technical understanding of Substation Automation Systems
- Experience in leading medium-sized delivery projects
- Practical experience with SAP for WBS, forecasting, invoicing plans, purchasing, and invoicing
- Ability to create project plans in MS Project
- Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
**Desirable Qualifications**
- Experience in areas such as Power Transmission, Power Distribution, Relay Protection & Control Systems, or similar technical fields
**Conditions**
The position is based in Västerås, with approximately 75% on-site work and the remaining part remote. The assignment is full-time and runs from November 25, 2025, to May 16, 2026, with the possibility of extension. CVs should be submitted in English.
