Do You Want to Make a Difference in People's Daily Lives and Contribute to a More Accessible and Inclusive Society? We are Seeking an Engaged and Driven Project Manager to Lead the Development of the Municipality as a Model Municipality for Disability Policy during the Period 2026–2028.
About the Role and Your Responsibilities
Lund has been designated as a model municipality by the Agency for Participation (MFD) and will develop new working methods that strengthen accessibility and participation for people with disabilities over three years. As a project manager, you will have a key role in driving this work forward – from mapping and planning to coordination, networking, and knowledge dissemination both within the municipality and at local, regional, and national levels.
In the autumn, a mapping of the municipality's work in the disability area will be conducted, which will form the basis for a project action plan. Prioritized areas include active leisure, employment, crime prevention measures, and the implementation of the new Social Services Act.

Your Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and Coordinate Work: You are responsible for coordinating efforts between different actors and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Goal and Resource Monitoring: Ensure the municipality follows set goals, measures, budget, and timeframes.
- Development and Improvement: With process support from MFD and SKR, drive the development of Lund Municipality's work in the area.
- Networking and Knowledge Dissemination: Coordinate and actively participate in networks, and spread knowledge both internally within the municipality and externally at local, regional, and national levels.
- Project Planning and Follow-up: Plan, monitor, and document the project's progress and results.
The Assignment is Varied with Strategic, Practical, and Administrative Elements.
We are Seeking You
You should have a relevant university degree in areas such as disability studies, social sciences, social work, project management, or similar. You have project management experience, preferably in social work, public sector, disability area, or public administration.
We find it positive if you have knowledge of disability policy, accessibility, and participation. Similarly, understanding and experience working with authorities and other public actors will facilitate your work.
The Position Requires Good Ability to Work Structurally and Long-term with Complex Issues. Additionally, You Need to Have a Good Ability to Create Engagement and Drive Change Work. As a Person, You are Outgoing and Easily Create Contacts, Maintain and Develop Relationships, and Collaborate Well with Others.
