Do you want to lead the electrical grid of the future?
Sweden is electrifying at a record pace – and Eltel is at the heart of this development. We design, build, and maintain electrical grids that keep communities functioning, from north to south. We are now looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager for our Northern District. Here, you will be a key player in our mission for E.ON, where we are building and renewing the electrical grid for the future.
About the role
As a Project Manager in electrical distribution, you will have full responsibility for your projects – from planning to handover. You will lead, monitor, and develop the work to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
You will work closely with our technicians, customers, and subcontractors, playing a central role in ensuring everything runs smoothly – technically, financially, and practically. A typical week involves both project management at the office and field follow-ups, with at least one site visit per week.
Examples of tasks:
- Lead and coordinate projects in electrical distribution up to 36 kV (new construction, renovation, and maintenance).
- Be responsible for timelines, budgets, resource allocation, follow-ups, and risk management.
- Have daily contact with technicians and ensure a safe, secure, and efficient work environment.
- Participate in construction and customer meetings, handle invoicing and reporting.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Participate in tendering work and bidding processes (AB 04 / ABT 06).
In short – you keep the overall picture together and ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Who are you?
You are a self-driven and engaged Project Manager who enjoys working towards clear goals. You thrive when given responsibility, have an easy time collaborating, and build strong relationships with both colleagues and customers.
To succeed in this role, you need:
- Experience in electrical distribution, such as a Project Manager, electrical designer, preparer, or distribution electrician.
- Knowledge of contract law (AB 04 / ABT 06).
- Education or experience in BAS-U/BAS-P, AMA, ESA, and EBR.
- Good computer skills, particularly in Excel and other Office applications.
- A valid driver's license (B).
- Fluent Swedish and good English in both spoken and written communication.
Meritorious:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Project management training and experience with financial follow-up/performance management.
About the Northern District
You will belong to the Power North department and report to the Department Manager. The district covers all of Norrland, with offices in Sundsvall, Östersund, and Umeå. You will be based in the Sundsvall office. Travel within the region is expected. The projects vary in size and scope – from short connection jobs to larger new construction projects with several active work teams simultaneously.
