Do you want to lead the power networks of the future?
Sweden is electrifying at an unprecedented pace – and Eltel is at the heart of this development. We design, build, and maintain power networks that make communities function, from north to south. We are now seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager for our Northern District. Here, you will play a key role in our mission for E.ON, where we are building and renewing power networks for the future.
About the role
As a Project Manager in power distribution, you will have full responsibility for your projects – from planning to handover. You will lead, monitor, and develop the work to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
You will work closely with our installers, customers, and subcontractors, and you will play a central role in ensuring that everything works – technically, financially, and practically. A typical week includes project management at the office and follow-up in the field, with at least one site visit per week.
Examples of tasks:
- Lead and coordinate projects within power distribution up to 36 kV (new construction, renovation, and maintenance).
- Be responsible for timelines, budgets, resource allocation, monitoring, and risk management.
- Maintain daily contact with installers and ensure a safe, secure, and efficient working environment.
- Participate in construction and customer meetings, handle invoicing and reporting.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Assist in quoting work and bidding processes (AB 04 / ABT 06).
In short – you will keep everything together and ensure that the projects run smoothly from start to finish.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Who are you?
You are a self-motivated and committed Project Manager who enjoys working towards clear goals. You thrive when given responsibility, work well in collaboration, and build strong relationships with both colleagues and customers.
To succeed in this role, you need to have:
- Experience in power distribution, for example as a project manager, electrical designer, planner, or distribution electrician.
- Knowledge of contract law (AB 04 / ABT 06).
- Education or experience with BAS-U/BAS-P, AMA, ESA, and EBR.
- Good computer skills, particularly in Excel and the rest of the Office suite.
- A valid driver's license (B category).
- Fluent Swedish and good English, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
- A degree in electrical engineering.
- Project management training and experience with financial monitoring/result management.
About the Northern District
You will belong to the Power Nord department and report to the Department Manager. The district encompasses all of Norrland, with offices in Sundsvall, Östersund, and Umeå. You will be based at the Östersund office. Travel within the region is expected. Projects vary in size and scope – from short connection jobs to larger new construction projects involving multiple active work teams simultaneously.
