The Section is Responsible for Steering Projects and Assignments for the Agency's Digitalization and IT Stability and Effective Working Methods, with a Clear Focus on Realizing Identified Goals and Operational Benefits, and Ensuring a Robust Capacity and Ability to Lead Development Projects.
WORK TASKS
As an IT Department Project Manager, You Will Be Involved in Driving the Agency's Digitalization. You'll Lead Digitalization and IT Infrastructure Projects and Work Closely with Various Operational Areas to Deliver According to Agreed Directives and Plans. As a Project Manager in an Environment Characterized by High Change Rates, You'll Have the Opportunity to Work with Different Parts of the Prison and Probation Service. In Your Role, You'll Plan, Follow Up, and Report Status and Deviations Based on Project Goals and Planning. You'll Secure Resources and Project Participation, and Manage and Lead Daily Project Work. In Some Cases, Work May Also Involve Assignments and Investigations. The Work Will Be Performed at the Prison and Probation Service's Head Office in Norrköping.
In a Section Consisting of Project Managers and Business Developers, You'll Be an Important Part of a Team That Supportively Assists Each Other Through Various Experiences, Competencies, and Individual Strengths. Together with Colleagues in the IT Department and Other Prison and Probation Service Operations, We Deliver the Value and Effect Needed to Support the Agency's Operational, Digital, and IT Development.

We Seek Someone Who Has:
• Relevant Academic Education in IT or Other Education Combined with Experience That the Prison and Probation Service Considers Relevant
• Practical Work Experience as a Project Manager, Active in the Role for the Past Two Years
• Very Good Ability to Express Themselves Well Verbally and in Writing in Swedish
• Good Understanding of English in Speech and Writing
It's Advantageous If You Have:
• Training in Change Management
• Training in IT Security
• Training in Information Security
• Broad Experience with IT Infrastructure (Applications, Network, Server, Storage, IT Workplace, Technical Security Functions)
• Experience with Security-Sensitive Operations
• Experience with Public Procurement
• Experience with Implementation Projects
• Experience Working in Large and Complex Organizations
• Experience Working in the Prison and Probation Service
• Good Knowledge of Project Management Methodology PPS
• Knowledge of the ITIL Framework
