Project Manager in Master Data Management (MDM) Role Description We are seeking a senior project manager to drive a Master Data Management implementation project. The assignment involves mapping master data domains, procurement of an MDM solution, and implementation of a defined data domain segment. Scope: 50%. Work approach: hybrid. Responsibilities • Plan, lead, and follow up on the project according to agreed roadmap and budget. • Drive mapping of master data domains, data sources, ownership, and data flows. • Conduct procurement/evaluation of MDM platform in close collaboration with business and IT. • Ensure requirement management, prioritization, and traceability from need to delivery. • Coordinate integrations, data modeling, data migration, and data quality rules. • Establish governance, processes, and roles for master data management. • Lead workshops and project meetings, and report status, risks, and decisions to the steering committee. • Prepare handover to management and define data quality metrics. Requirements • Documented experience in IT project management with a focus on master data/data quality (MDM). • Experience in implementing system support. • Ability to regularly attend project meetings and workshops in Gothenburg in person. • Strong communication skills and experience leading cross-functional stakeholders. • At least two reference assignments that verify relevant MDM experience must be attachable. Merits • Experience in procurement and implementation of MDM platforms and related tools. • Practical experience with data modeling, data catalogs, data governance, and data quality frameworks. • Delivery experience in large and complex IT environments with multiple source and target systems. • Knowledge of integration patterns and APIs in hybrid cloud. • Certifications in project management or data management.
