About the Senior Project Manager Role Tyresö Bostäder is now seeking a project manager (renovation) with extensive experience in managing housing renovation projects. We are looking for a team player who is business-oriented, humble, and confident, with strategic capabilities. You have a strong focus on how you can create value and quality together with your colleagues, both for tenants and the development of our shared property portfolio. Tyresö Bostäder is facing development of our property holdings, with plans for comprehensive renovations and new construction projects. As a renovation project manager, you will drive our renovation and maintenance projects. In this role, you will have overall responsibility from project concept, design, and implementation to handover of maintenance and renovation projects. You will collaborate closely with our property managers and with tenants, contractors, consultants, municipality, and authorities. Responsibilities include: - Lead project manager with financial responsibility for major construction projects from start to completion. - Responsible for project implementation. - Collaborate with procurement department to conduct inquiries and contract tendering. - Develop appropriate project organization. - Independently establish and maintain relationships with contractors, municipalities, and other stakeholders. - Report project status and goal achievement. - Participate in developing processes, routines, and methods for managing and monitoring unit projects. - Communicate project details clearly and simply with relevant parties (such as tenants, commercial tenants, and other stakeholders) in collaboration with our communication department. - Conduct clear handover to management after project completion. Background/Requirements: We seek candidates with extensive construction industry experience. You should be proficient in project phases and have experience working in early stages, particularly with tenant consultation processes. We believe you have worked as a project manager for several years and have good experience managing large and complex projects. You should have strong knowledge of construction legislation, contract law, industry regulations, and understanding of public procurement rules and material/contract tendering. Previous experience in public sector operations is advantageous. We are looking for candidates with a civil/university engineering degree or other construction-related education, or equivalent knowledge acquired through extensive work experience. You should have experience managing finances and financial reporting, be a structured administrator skilled at preparing decision-making documentation, understand the importance of communication, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A driver's license (minimum category B) is required.
