Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager specializing in technical coordination and investigation support for a government authority in the traffic sector. This is a consulting assignment. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires a high degree of flexibility and teamwork. **Assignment** The role of Project Manager for technical coordination and investigation support is located within the Infrastructure BEST section. This section is responsible for managing the physical infrastructure associated with rail traffic by leading, directing, and monitoring maintenance contractors, as well as planning and following up on replacement investments. The section ensures that the facility meets safety, functionality, and value requirements throughout its lifecycle. **Responsibilities** - Lead, direct, and monitor maintenance contractors. - Ensure proper management of the physical infrastructure. - Be responsible for long-term planning of replacement investments. - Develop management plans. - Order and follow up on actions related to management plans. - Ensure that the facility meets safety, functionality, and value requirements. - Perform technical coordination and investigation support within the section. **Requirements (Mandatory)** - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. - Experience working as a manager or project leader for at least 5 years in total. Experience in politically governed operations for at least 2 years in total. Experience working with technical issues within any form of railway system, such as railways, trams, or subways, for at least 3 years. Experience coordinating between at least 3 different technical disciplines for at least 5 years in total. **Desirable** - Experience working in contractual relationships between asset owners and contractors for at least 4 years. Experience as a project manager in early stages for at least 1 year. Experience in preparing decision documents and/or contracts in public administration for at least 2 years.
