**Section for National Preparedness Planning**
The Section for National Preparedness Planning operates under the National Operational Department. The section coordinates and provides direction for preparedness planning within the Police Authority and the strategic work of the Police Authority in relation to NATO membership. The section is also responsible for leading efforts within the preparedness sector of Order and Security to create uniformity, clarity, and structure to achieve coordinated actions in preparedness planning and in managing peacetime crises, heightened readiness, and ultimately war.
**The Project**
Do you want to work to enhance the Police's preparedness capability by coordinating large real estate projects?
The Police Authority has decided to implement projects to strengthen its resilience and ensure its capability across the threat spectrum. Development needs to occur in several critical societal sectors and includes, among other things, real estate development, development of technical infrastructure, and strategic business analysis. The work is expected to last at least a decade and involve significant financial and operational values.
Employment will be based at the National Operational Department and the Section for Preparedness Planning but may change during the course of the project.
**Job Description**
As a project coordinator, you will play a leading role in the coordination of the project. You will support several project managers in the overarching project by planning and following up on project activities, and you will have a central role in ensuring coordination, quality, and clarity in the project. You are responsible for creating a common structure, coordinating activities, and ensuring that all administration and follow-up functions effectively.
You will assist project managers in updating project plans, timelines, and decision points, as well as ensuring that the right people are informed and that activities are coordinated between subprojects. You will monitor deadlines, deliveries, risks, and actions as needed by project managers. If necessary, you will support budget and resource tracking and help drive the project forward. You will ensure version control and structure for the project's documentation, as well as record-keeping and compiling reports.
Your responsibilities will include planning and booking meetings and workshops, preparing agendas, documents, and presentations, as well as taking meeting notes and following up on actions.
The tasks require a significant physical presence on-site. While there is flexibility in daily routines, the opportunity to work remotely is limited.
**Qualifications**
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant for the position
- Experience in coordination or an administrative role within projects, teams, or business development
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Swedish citizenship
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Experience with project methodology
- Experience from project offices or larger projects/programs
- Experience with project tools such as MS Project or equivalent
