As a Project Coordinator/Economist in Arjeplog Municipality, you will become an important part of the municipality's development work to create conditions for good financial management with a clear focus on the residents' best interests.
Project. Arjeplog Municipality is part of a collaborative project between Region 10's municipalities – Arjeplog, Arvidsjaur, Dorotea, Lycksele, Malå, Norsjö, Sorsele, Storuman, Vilhelmina, and Åsele, Region Västerbotten, and Region Norrbotten. The project's goal is to strengthen the rural area's role in the green transition. The project runs until December 2027.
Your Main Tasks:
Your role as Project Coordinator involves administrative and coordinating responsibility and leading the project.
As an Economist, you will work on statistical reporting and analysis, participate in accounting work, year-end closing, budget work, and provide support to managers and employees on financial matters. You will work on quality development and efficiency of processes and working methods within the organization. Ongoing work at the finance office is also included.
Your placement will be in the Administration and Support department.
Qualifications
University-level education in economics equivalent to a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting/financial management or equivalent experience.
Experience in planning, coordinating, and following up projects. Experience with administrative work including documentation, follow-up, and reporting.
Good IT skills, proficiency in the Office package, and working in various IT systems.
You have excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, and are structured, methodical, and analytical.
In a small municipality, your role will often be both strategic and practical - therefore personal qualities are important. Personal suitability and skills regarding service, support, and interaction are of great importance.
