Security-Classified Consulting Assignment – Are You Ready for the Next Challenge?
Do you want to communicate about one of Stockholm's most important community projects? We are now looking for a Project Communicator who wants to help strengthen the future of drinking water supply. In this temporary position, you will play a central role in the communication surrounding the construction of a new water treatment plant, from strategy to hands-on efforts, closely connected to the project and operations.
About the Assignment
Do you want to communicate about one of the region's most significant community projects? We are currently seeking a Project Communicator for our client, who is working to deliver fresh drinking water to residents. This assignment is a parental leave cover starting no later than January and will last for 12 months, full-time, 100%.
The client is embarking on a major future initiative: securing the drinking water supply by building a new water treatment plant. As a Project Communicator, you will have a key role in the communication efforts for this extensive expansion project.
The position will be carried out both at the headquarters in Sundbyberg and at the water treatment plant in Järfälla. Therefore, you need to have a valid driver's license (B).
Location: Sundbyberg - Järfälla
Scope: Full-time, 100%
Security Classification: This assignment requires an approved security clearance, including a security interview and background check.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, producing, and coordinating communication efforts aimed at both internal and external target groups. You will work closely with the project organization and support both strategic and operational tasks.
Your tasks will include:
• Developing communication plans and messaging platforms
• Planning and executing construction and disruption communications and other communication efforts.
• Managing inquiries from suppliers/technical consultants and ensuring coordination of communication efforts regarding the project
• Writing target audience-adapted texts for various channels and coordinating status reports on the project.
• Planning, executing, and participating in project-related events.
• Coordinating press contacts and independently reaching out to media in project-related contexts.
• Being responsible for presentation materials and signage.
Your Qualifications
• Higher education in media and communication studies, journalism, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in strategic and operational communication work
• Excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in developing communication plans
• Experience in writing audience-specific texts for various channels, adapting messages to different types of target groups, and making technical issues understandable for non-technical audiences
• Experience in basic web publishing and communication via social media.
• Knowledge of basic image editing
• Valid driver's license (B)
• Strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious
• Experience as a project communicator or communicator in the community development sector is highly meritorious
• Experience from the public sector
• Proficient user of Adobe Creative Cloud programs, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience in web publishing in Optimizely
• Experience in acting as a client towards agencies
• Familiarity with handling inquiries from journalists
• Knowledge of filming and editing simple videos
