Your Upcoming Role
MAXIMA is one of the region's largest infrastructure investments, encompassing a new and robust Sjölunda wastewater treatment plant with new outlet pipelines in the Öresund, a large pumping station, a wastewater tunnel under Malmö, a wastewater tunnel from Källby in Lund to Sjölunda in Malmö, and transfer pipelines to connect several municipalities. As a project engineer, you will work closely with project managers, sub-project managers, technical managers, and other functions to support the project's and program's overall goals. Your tasks will be based on project management fundamentals, including cost control, scheduling, and risk management. Depending on the project phase and team composition, tasks may also include design, QMA, and requirements management. The role also includes administration such as meeting coordination, note-taking, and document management.
Tasks include:
- Financial management within assigned areas, including invoice handling, project budgeting, reconciliations, forecasts, and financial compilation
- Establishing, updating, and reconciling timelines
- Leading, coordinating, and following up on project risk management
- Coordinating meetings and writing minutes
- Document management

Your Experience
We are seeking candidates who:
- Are civil/construction engineers in civil engineering/road and water or equivalent
- Have more than 5 years of experience in the construction or infrastructure industry with tasks such as planning, cost control, and risk management
- Experience with quality, environment, work environment, and/or design management is a significant advantage
- Have good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish
