Project Engineer - Tramway

We are looking for a Project Engineer for a government agency within traffic. This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which demands high flexibility and teamwork skills. **The Assignment** The role of Project Engineer involves supporting project managers and design managers in a larger infrastructure program that includes planning, design, and implementation of new tram lines. The work encompasses administrative, technical, and financial tasks where you contribute to ensuring the project delivers according to set goals. The role requires independent work, structured management of project data, and close collaboration with the various functions of the project. The tasks will be tailored to your experience and skills, focusing on supporting project documentation, planning, follow-up, and operational issues. **Responsibilities** - Administration in systems used within the project, including permit issues such as land and building permits, etc. - Assist in preparing presentation materials, documenting/minuting meetings. - Help develop project plans, WBS, and schedules. - Compile cost estimates, materials for procurement, and status reporting for the project. - Support and follow up on risks within the project. - Lead certain meetings and workshops. - Manage changes and questions during the contract period, compile and respond to contractors. - Participate in financial meetings with contractors and construction meetings, following up on contractual work as a supporting party to the project manager. - Support the construction manager with production-related issues. **Requirements (Mandatory)** - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or vocational education in a relevant area. Relevant fields include Civil Engineering, Road and Water Engineering, Construction Technology, and Water Supply. - At least four years of work experience in the design and/or contracting phase within infrastructure and construction. Experience can be gained in roles such as project engineer, contract engineer, site manager, or design manager. - Documented training in contract law. - Experience in writing meeting minutes, construction meeting minutes, notifications from at least one assignment. **Meritorious** - Work experience in tram or railway projects from at least one assignment. - Work experience in infrastructure or construction work exceeding 50 million SEK in urban environments from at least one assignment. - Documented project management training, supported by certificates attached to the application. **Personal Attributes** - Good collaboration skills. - Proactive in creating progress with the ability to deliver. - Solution-oriented and approaches problems with an open attitude, inviting dialogue and collaboration. - Strong ability to cooperate and build teams, establish and maintain relationships. - Systematic and structured, with the ability to create conditions for effective working methods. - High communication skills, able to articulate clearly in both spoken and written Swedish. - Initiative-taking and self-driven. **About Us** Centio's overarching goal is to be a consulting company that offers smart and sustainable solutions that positively develop society.
