ABOUT THE POSITION We are currently seeking an experienced project engineer to work closely with project managers on large investment and improvement projects within road and railway infrastructure. Our client is a significant player in the infrastructure sector. Their Investment division is responsible for the largest reconstruction measures and new investments by managing the entire implementation process, from planning to construction. As a project engineer, you will work within project management and assist in the execution of projects. The tasks are primarily administrative but may vary as needed. You will have the opportunity to influence the content of your work based on your skill set and interests. The work is project-based and involves collaboration with both internal specialists and external stakeholders. Your main responsibilities include: - Working with forecasts and cost tracking - Supporting project managers with scheduling, administration, follow-up, and finance - Conducting financial administration, such as handling invoices, orders, and preparations for year-end closing - Managing the project's internal administration, including project specifications, project routines, document management, and presentation materials - Following up and updating the project's governing documents (control programs, project specifications, risk analyses, and site-specific requirements) - Actively participating in the project's handover process to the Maintenance division WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Has a university or college education of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a technical focus, or other education combined with 2 years of work experience as a project engineer or in project management - Has at least 4 years of documented experience working as a project engineer or in project management - Has at least 3 years of experience in the above within the road infrastructure sector - Has at least 4 years of documented knowledge and experience in budget work, planning, and risk management - Has at least 1 year of documented experience managing contracts established under AB 04, ABT 06, ABK 09 - Holds a valid B driver's license - Has good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication will be conducted in Swedish To succeed in this role, you possess the following personal qualities: As a project engineer, you need to be goal-oriented and drive the work forward with a clear direction, while a good organizational ability ensures structure in both planning and documentation.
