Project Engineer – Operations & Facilities in Production

Company Presentation Our client, operating in safe and environmentally friendly waste management, is now seeking a Project Engineer for operations & facilities in production at their site near Kimstad. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a forward-looking organization that develops processes and technology for more sustainable material recycling. This is initially a 12-month consultancy assignment through Unik Resurs, with a very good possibility of extension, as the client is open to hiring after the first year. Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility In the role of Project Engineer, you will have a broad responsibility where you both drive development projects and support the daily operations of the facility. You will work closely with the business, collaborate nationally, and contribute to technological development within the industry. Responsibilities include: - Developing financial calculations and decision-making materials for the development of the facility's processes - Acting as technical support for production and operations - Participating in projects together with colleagues at the national level - Monitoring and contributing to technological development and the development of new material recycling concepts - Assisting in negotiations with consultants, suppliers, and customers - Coordinating regulatory contacts regarding notifications and permits in environmental matters - Managing and developing documentation related to processes, self-monitoring, and environmental goals - Ensuring that management systems and processes are followed Your Profile We are looking for someone who is communicative, structured, and analytical. You thrive in a role where you work independently but also collaborate closely with other functions.
