Project Engineer - Byarum-Tenhult Would you like to work on one of Småland's most exciting railway projects? We are seeking an engaged and structured project engineer who wants to contribute to the development of the new railway between Byarum-Tenhult. Job Responsibilities As a project engineer, you will contribute to and support our project managers in the project planning process and ensure documentation according to established routines and guidelines. Together and in close collaboration with project managers, you will represent the Swedish Transport Administration in meetings with relevant municipalities, regions, authorities, organizations, and other external stakeholders. Your tasks will include: • Participating and representing the Swedish Transport Administration in various internal and external meetings with suppliers and stakeholders • Assisting project managers with notifications, deviations, and risk management • Supporting project managers with documentation for internal monthly and financial reporting • Contributing to the achievement of designated project goals • Ensuring that project internal work methods, routines, instructions, method descriptions, templates, and tools are used • Driving and preparing issues for project decisions • Responsible for structuring and administration in the project management system Qualifications To succeed in the role, you are engaged and have good initiative skills. Furthermore, you are organized and have an ability to structure your work. You have strong analytical skills and can see the holistic perspective in complex contexts. You are communicative and able to work closely in a small, tight-knit project group. We are looking for someone who: • Has a university degree of at least 180 credits in a technical field or equivalent education/experience • Has at least one year of current experience in consulting or production work within railway or road projects • Good knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite • Can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • Holds a valid driver's license Additional merits include experience with: • Risk management, time planning, and financial control • Work with requirements and governing regulations, and change management Location The position is based in Jönköping.
