Project Controller at RISE

RISE is now seeking a Project Controller (PC) for an assignment in Gothenburg, a role where you can combine economic analysis, business understanding, and close collaboration with project managers in exciting research and innovation projects. Location: Gothenburg (with occasional travel to Stockholm) Scope: Full-time, office hours 8–5 Work Form: On-site up to 3 days/week, with remote work possible for remaining time Start Date: January 2026 Assignment Length: 6 months (with potential for extension) About the Position As a Project Controller at RISE, you will work alongside other controllers and one of our departments. Your primary mission is to analyze and follow up on cost and revenue budgets, as well as identify, analyze, and review any deviations between actual outcomes and project budgets. You will serve as a crucial support to project managers and project owners by preparing decision-making documents, conducting economic analyses, and contributing to increased financial understanding within the organization. Primary Responsibilities In this role, you will also be responsible for: - Ensuring correct project setup in the business system - Guaranteeing accurate financial reporting to customers and funders - Monthly profit recognition and management of potential project risks - Implementation and compliance with financial guidelines and procedures - Active participation in project audits together with project managers, group accounting, and the controlling team - Work will be conducted in the IFS business system, with analyses performed in Power BI Who Are You?
