Project Sourcing Manager

We’re looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Metal & Pipes Project Procurement team and strengthen Scania’s drive toward sustainable transport solutions. **Role Summary** You own your parts’ journey in product development projects—from first concept to serial production—for Scania and the wider TRATON Group. As a Project Sourcing Manager, you will: - Have the commercial responsibility within development projects for Scania and the TRATON Group. - Represent Scania Procurement in cross-functional collaboration with R&D, production, marketing, and external suppliers. - Manage and coordinate technical discussions between Scania R&D and suppliers, to ensure technical specifications are met and sourcing remains cost-effective. - Work with a global supplier base and set strategies for segments and suppliers, and review technical documentation from a commercial perspective. - Work closely with colleagues across the TRATON Group procurement organizations. - Lead RFQs and negotiations, and present results and recommendations. **Who You Are** We are seeking someone that has: - A university degree, preferably in engineering, business, or a related field. - Experience in procurement or another commercial area. - A passion for both business and technical development. - A results-oriented, analytical, and flexible mindset, paired with excellent communication skills. - The ability to manage several assignments in a structured way while supporting colleagues. - A long-term thinker always looking for ways to improve how we work and support colleagues. - The ability to work independently and drive initiatives. - A positive attitude and strong team spirit, needed in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English and availability for international networking and travel (Swedish and a category B driver’s license are advantages). **Don’t tick every single box?** If this role excites you and you believe you can add value, we encourage you to apply—mindset and potential matter just as much as a perfect match on paper. **This Is Us** We are a diverse team with different backgrounds, ages, genders, and nationalities.
