ValueOne is looking for a Project Sourcing Manager for an assignment with one of our clients in the process industry located in Kokkola, Finland. The project is scheduled to start in December or January and will run for 6 months, with the possibility of hybrid work (50-70%).

The role
As Project Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process for civil and groundworks contracts related to an expansion project. You will lead and coordinate sourcing activities from needs analysis through to final negotiations and follow-up. Your role ensures the delivery of competitive, high-quality agreements and contributes to the successful execution of the project.
Main responsibilities:
• Lead and execute procurement processes for civil and groundworks contracts, as well as related site services.
• Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQs) and manage the entire tendering process.
• Evaluate bids based on cost, quality, scope, and safety.
• Document and follow up on all steps in the procurement and contracting process.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams on schedules, contract drafting, deliveries, and risk management related to sourcing.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage any deviations or changes.
• Ensure the project stays within budget and meets targets through cost tracking and reporting.
Experience and competencies
We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in the procurement of construction contracts within civil works, groundworks, or other construction projects in the industrial or infrastructure sectors. You hold a post-secondary degree, preferably in economics, engineering, or industrial management. Fluency in Finnish and English, both spoken and written, is essential for this assignment, while knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage. Experience with AB/ABT and the Finnish equivalent YSE is highly desirable.
You are comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues. We believe you have strong business acumen, excellent attention to detail, and an analytical, structured approach to your work.
