**Project Manager – Business Transformation (Technical Communication)**
**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a business transformation project within the Technical Communication area. In this role, you will coordinate stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies, manage complex technical and organizational dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of new processes, tools, and ways of working. The role requires strong leadership, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of technical documentation environments.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Project Leadership & Execution**
- Lead and manage a business transformation project focused on Technical Communication.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of project activities according to set timelines and deadlines.
- Ensure effective governance, documentation, and reporting in line with the established project methodology.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively to secure seamless project progress.
- Drive budget and resource management within the project team.
**Stakeholder Management**
- Manage and align a broad network of stakeholders across the organization, including manufacturing, central functions, and internal technical communication teams.
- Facilitate clear communication and expectations across all involved parties.
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration to ensure alignment and adoption.
**Team Coordination**
- Coordinate project team members, including IT, tool development, and business representatives.
- Ensure clarity on roles, responsibilities, and deliverables within the project team.
- Support team members in problem-solving and prioritization.
**Change Management**
- Lead change management activities to support new processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Develop communication and engagement plans to ensure understanding and adoption.
- Work closely with stakeholders to prepare the organization for transition.
**Technical Expertise (Required)**
- Strong understanding of technical documentation processes and content consumption from an end-user and factory perspective.
- Experience with documentation and translation workflows.
- Knowledge of templates, structured content, and different document types.
- Familiarity with CMS and XML-based authoring environments.
- Understanding of metadata structures and governance.
- Experience with SAP equipment structures.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and act as the bridge between business and IT.
- Understanding of the link between knowledge management and technical documentation.
**Systems & Tools**
Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn:
- Windchill
- Arbortext
- SAP
- Poka
- SharePoint
