Product Development Assistant for the Development Department at Culinar

About the Position As a Product Development Assistant at Culinar, you will become an important part of a dedicated department of skilled and flavor-savvy product developers who together contribute to making our customers successful. We work cross-functionally and closely with colleagues in sales, production, purchasing, and quality. The development department creates products for flavoring and functionality for customers in meat and charcuterie, plant-based, snacks, bakery, and meal solutions. Example Tasks: • Independently develop various test blends for customers, product developers, and quality labs based on given recipes and instructions. • Assist product developers with various assignments and generally support the department. • Order and replenish raw materials, packaging, and other consumables. • Ensure that facilities, equipment, and tools are in good order and in their designated places. Your Profile We are looking for someone with an interest in food and flavor and background in the food industry. A high school education in food is meritorious but not a requirement. Good Swedish language skills are mandatory, and you should be able to communicate in English when needed in your role. Basic knowledge of food safety and common IT programs, such as Microsoft Office, is meritorious. As a person, you have a positive attitude, good service skills, and a genuine interest in food and flavor. The role suits someone who enjoys practical work and values structure and attention to detail. You are motivated by contributing to good results – both for the team and our customers. The ability to work both independently and in different group configurations is central. You have a natural drive to learn new things and a curiosity that makes you eager to develop alongside others.
