Product Manager for Mine Clearance Material We are now seeking a Product Manager with experience in mine clearance equipment and a strong drive for quality. About the Position As a Product Manager for Mine Clearance Material, you will work with the Navy's mine detection and clearance equipment. You will support the Technical Chief and Chief Engineer by holding technical design responsibility during ongoing material procurement and major modifications, as well as supporting the Armed Forces in their exercise of technical design responsibility during the maintenance phase. In the technical design responsibility, you will be responsible for development, configuration management, monitoring of status and performance, and quality assurance of the systems within your area of responsibility. You will also propose corrective actions for any functional and safety-related deficiencies. In this role, you will participate in both procurement and maintenance projects, which involves being involved in planning, implementation, and follow-up to ensure the technical function of the equipment throughout its lifecycle. You will also contribute to the preparation of defense material plans and represent FMV in international collaborations. The position is located in Stockholm. Travel is part of the job. About You We are seeking candidates with a civilian or university education in a technical field, or military officer training, or equivalent competence acquired through other means that we deem comparable. To succeed in the role, it is necessary to have experience in lifecycle planning and maintenance/after-market support of naval mine clearance equipment and its evaluation. Furthermore, you should have experience in operational management and maintenance of these systems or other technical systems of similar complexity. The position requires excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, as well as a B driver's license. It is meritorious if you have experience in technical project work within marine systems, experience with system verification and validation, working with testing against requirements and technical specifications.
