Production Technology Manager

ValueOne is seeking a Production Technology Manager for a consulting assignment at one of our customers in the industry located in Ovanåkers municipality. The assignment starts as agreed and will last for 6 months with good opportunities for permanent recruitment. ValueOne specializes in Supply Chain Management - purchasing and logistics. You will lead and develop a team of five employees and be a technically knowledgeable and present leader who actively participates in daily work when needed. The role is part of the factory management group and has an important function in contributing to the factory's overall strategy and priorities. • Responsible for operation, development, and availability of machine park and equipment • Ensure high operational reliability and increased productivity and efficiency in production • Lead work with preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize unplanned stops • Responsible for preparation and calculation • Plan and implement structured, scheduled maintenance and develop routines and working methods • Lead implementation and commissioning of new technology and machines together with internal and external parties • Identify and drive technical improvement initiatives and projects within production Experience and Competence We are seeking someone with experience in production technology and maintenance within manufacturing industry, as well as familiarity with machine installations, investment projects, and improvement work in an industrial environment. You should have a good understanding of machine control, PLC systems, and automation. Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing are required. A post-secondary technical education, preferably focused on mechanical engineering, production technology, or automation, is meritorious. Experience from an industry with machining is also considered advantageous. As a person, you are an operations-close, secure, and trustworthy leader with good communication skills. You are goal-oriented, structured, and development-driven, with the ability to identify and drive improvements both technically and organizationally.
