Your Role
As a Production Technician, you will develop and digitize production processes by continuously improving work methods and creating more efficient workflows. As part of the role, you are responsible for creating and updating production documentation, routines, and instructions. You will work both practically and analytically with troubleshooting, developing tools, fixtures, and test equipment. Additionally, you will analyze problems and find corrective actions that ensure production quality.
In the role, you will participate in multiple projects simultaneously, including both new development projects and ongoing serial projects. Technical support for production is a natural part of the work, and you will also have external contact with customers and suppliers.
You will be part of a production technology team of 14 people responsible for the company's production technical expertise in our electronics production. We work with complex electronic products used in both civilian and military aviation. We work closely with our purchasing department, suppliers, development department, and other production technicians in the company.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of tasks and has the ability to independently drive work forward. You are flexible, work systematically, and maintain composure even when the pace is high. As a person, you are communicative, pedagogical, and adaptable. Collaboration is something you enjoy, and you function well in a group and appreciate having multiple contact points in daily work. It is important that you have good understanding and interest in electronics.
To Succeed in the Role, You Have:
* Post-secondary education in electronics, or equivalent work experience
* Some years of relevant work experience
* Good knowledge of electronics
* Experience in production technology
* Experience in production preparation
* Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as communication, documentation, and materials occur in both languages
It is Also Advantageous if You Have Experience in:
* Preparation in electronics production
* Electromechanics
* Testing, control, and troubleshooting of electronics
* Electronics assembly
* Measurement technology with instrument handling
* IFS business system
* LEAN concept
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may entail specific citizenship requirements.
