Production Technician

About the position The role of a technician is an exciting and varied position as the Laundry in Alingsås is currently undergoing a significant development journey. As a Production Technician, you will be the extended arm of the Technical Manager. You will work towards our established goals and drive activities that the technical unit has prioritized. Continuous improvement and deviation management are part of everyday life as we constantly strive to develop our processes and routines. You will also support unit managers within production to enhance efficiency by analyzing and developing work methods and machinery. Additionally, you will assist in our investment projects and coordinate the installation of new production equipment. In this position, you will have significant contact with our suppliers and partners. The role may also require you to produce measurements, documentation, and training materials, as well as conduct training sessions for colleagues within the Alingsås operation. About you We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in technology, or equivalent work experience deemed relevant by the employer. We prefer that you have a few years of professional experience in production technology and other production-related support systems, such as OEE. You should be able to take a proactive view of the entire production flow and initiate and drive activities from idea to implementation. You have a strong technical interest and are skilled at sharing your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues. As a person, you are responsible, communicative, and possess analytical skills. You have good computer skills and experience working with digital systems. You communicate fluently in Swedish and are adept at articulating yourself both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of LEAN and experience in leading change projects is an advantage. Our offer The Laundry in Alingsås provides healthcare in the Västra Götaland region with laundry, textiles, and sterile products. Every day, our production chain sorts and handles 37 tons of laundry, which we then deliver back to our customers. The operation is certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001, and we have approximately 240 employees in total.
