We are seeking a Section Manager for the new Production Support section within Special Mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA). Your primary challenge will be to shape and develop the section together with your colleagues, both in terms of operations, skills development, and future sustainability. SMRA is in an expansive phase, where you will actively contribute to the continued growth of the business. In the leadership team you will join, there are currently experienced managers and support functions to work with. Your Role You will lead and manage a newly formed section, Production Support, within the Production Management area. You will be the manager of an engaged team working to ensure optimized planning and execution of material coordination activities, item data management in the business system, and project management related to ongoing project and production activities. The group works with platform projects, primarily with the GlobalEye product, as well as after-market support for civil and military aircraft produced or modified by Saab. Your main responsibilities will include: * Personnel responsibility for the section, including coaching, feedback, goal setting, and individual and collective development * Responsibility for budget and results within the section * Planning and distribution of resources and recruitment within the section * Supporting the section with daily production issues, performance and calculation work, and communication and information sharing * Development and improvement of work routines and tools within the section Your Profile We believe you are a driven, reliable, and responsible leader who is open to new ideas and has the ability to contribute to a good structure. To succeed in the role, you have: * Experience coordinating material flows in a production organization * Previous leadership experience with a willingness to support, coach, and develop others * Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing Meriting Skills: * Background in Saab platforms Saab 340/Saab 2000, its derivatives, and the Global Eye modification is meritorious * Experience with IFS Business System The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security protection regulations. The Production Support section consists of a team of 15 employees within the Production Management area, the Special Mission and Regional Aircraft department, which belongs to the Aviation Services Business Unit, Aeronautics. The Production Management area is responsible for maintaining the production permits that Saab has received from civil and military aviation authorities. The area also prepares maintenance and production documentation, performs internal production, and is responsible for SMRA's inventory management.
