Responsibilities
As a production planner, you will play a central role responsible for optimizing and managing daily planning with a focus on efficient production flows and processes as well as high delivery reliability. You will be part of a team with five other production planners, and your role will encompass everything from long-term forecasts to detailed daily planning and production follow-up.
Your daily tasks will include, among others:
- Developing and establishing master plans and detailed plans.
- Managing priorities to ensure capacity utilization and delivery reliability.
- Monitoring and securing daily/weekly pace and delivery goals from a planning perspective.
- Analyzing capacity and utilization to streamline personnel and production resources.
- Evaluating short- and long-term forecasts to optimize planning and production flows.
- Proactively working with material flows between locations.
Depending on your background and profile, the position may involve planning for steel mills or rolling mills.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A higher education and/or work experience in logistics/planning, preferably with a focus on LEAN.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
To succeed in this role, you are analytical, driven, and results-oriented. Furthermore, you are flexible and meticulous, with a strong initiative that helps you drive projects forward. Your structured work style allows you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus. With your proactive approach, you anticipate and solve problems before they arise. Additionally, you possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with different departments and ensure smooth production operations.
You will work daytime hours.
