Lumibird Photonics Sweden AB develops, manufactures, sells, and maintains laser rangefinders for military applications in an international market.
Your Responsibilities
As a Production Planner at Lumibird Photonics, you will be a key person in ensuring that production runs according to plan: from initiating work orders to shipping finished products. You will function as a central link between production and inventory and work closely with both assemblers and other support functions within the company. The role involves administrative work with a strong system focus in ERP, where your understanding of logistics flows, inventory transactions, and economic strategies will be central. You will enter a phase where work methods are being developed, which means you will both drive improvement efforts and maintain daily operations. In this role, you will also communicate progress and status continuously to relevant internal stakeholders at Lumibird to ensure a clear and shared situational awareness.
Example Tasks
- Plan and control production flows to ensure delivery capability
- Start and close work orders and ensure correct data management in the ERP system
- Communicate status regarding material availability, deviations, and progress
- Participate and contribute in internal meetings and improvement work
- Work closely with production to ensure operators have materials, information, and the right conditions
Your Profile
We are seeking someone driven by structure, development, and finding smarter ways of working. You enjoy managing multiple processes simultaneously, are comfortable with changing conditions, and can quickly adapt planning when needed. You are communicative, curious, and easily understand the connections between logistics, production, and results. In the role of production planner, you are responsible for creating a stable and sustainable plan based on forecasts, material availability, and capacity. This requires you to be analytical, meticulous, and able to coordinate multiple functions to ensure efficient flow and correct prioritization at the right time.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in production or logistics flows
- Experience with ERP systems
- Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written
- Good computer skills and enjoys working systematically and structured
