About the Position
We are now seeking production personnel for a foundry at one of the world's largest automotive industry actors - located in Skövde!
With us, you will become an important part of the entire foundry process: from the melting plant, through core making and forming lines to post-processing. Here you will work with machine monitoring, manual inspection of castings, forklift operation, and scrap melting in a workplace where tradition meets modern technology.
This is a full-time fixed-term position with good opportunities for extension. Work hours are scheduled in shifts and can vary between day, evening, night, and weekend, depending on departmental needs. Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, technically interested, and responsible - both individually and in a team. It is essential that you enjoy physical work, as many practical and physical tasks are part of the job duties. We especially appreciate candidates with experience in heavy industrial environments who are proactive and safety-conscious.
We are seeking candidates who:
• Have experience in industrial work
• Hold a Class B driver's license
• Have forklift licenses A, B, and D or are open to obtaining them before employment
• Have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma, preferably with technical orientation
• Experience in foundry work
• Familiarity with troubleshooting
• Experience working with ABB robots or similar robotic technology
