Department J7 Central Military Region (MR M)
As a regional production officer, you will belong to the Unit Production Department at MR M, which is now expanding and seeking more employees. The Unit Production Department J7 is responsible for leading and coordinating operational planning and management within MR M. This includes planning, coordination, and execution of training and exercises.
Main Responsibilities
As a production officer in the Central Military Region, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, following up, and developing training and exercise activities within the region's area of responsibility. The position supports the Chief J7 and contributes to ensuring an efficient and well-coordinated operation that enhances the units' operational capability and supports the region's tasks within total defense.
Examples of tasks include:
• Planning and coordinating training and exercise activities within the framework of the Central Military Region's operations. Supporting the planning and execution of exercises and training. This also includes administration, logistics, and follow-up.
• Participating in the development of implementation plans, orders, and reports.
• Representing the Central Military Region J7 to units, schools, authorities, and higher staffs.
• Compiling and analyzing results, experiences, and lessons learned to contribute to the development of the region's operations.
• Participating in the development of routines and methods for planning and follow-up of training and exercise activities.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Completed upper secondary education
• Strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Good computer skills and proficiency in using the Office suite
• Class B driver's license
• Military driving license:
o Heavy truck, PB 8, minibus, light personnel carrier, passenger car

Meritorious
• Experience in planning, administration, or operational management.
• Experience from the Armed Forces or another authority within total defense. Experience with the Home Guard system.
• Experience in exercise planning, training production, or staff service.

Information about the Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:
The Central Military Region (MR M) is a military unit and an organizational unit where the Chief and Staff are located in Kungsängen. The organization consists of a Chief with staff, six training groups for the training and support of the Home Guard, and approximately 7,000 Home Guard soldiers organized into eleven battalions and several independent units.
The Chief of the Central Military Region with the regional staff leads subordinate units, collaborates with regional and local actors, leads security and intelligence services, and supports operational and tactical leaders in fulfilling tasks within the region. The region also serves as a link between the Armed Forces and civil society, actively collaborating with the county administrative board and the region. If necessary, MR M also leads operations, for example, during national crises and community support. The military region fulfills tasks in peace, crisis, and war.
The organization and operational area of the Central Military Region encompass the geographical counties of Stockholm, Uppsala, Södermanland, Västmanland, Dalarna, and Gävleborg. Training groups and the Home Guard are present in each county.
