About this role

Do you want to help strengthen everyone's right to accessible reading? Are you an administrator with an interest in tactile products? Now you have the chance to contribute to an important democratic mission as a production administrator. The Swedish Agency for Accessible Media's vision (MTM) is a society where all reading is accessible. We are a national knowledge center for accessible media working to ensure that everyone has access to news, literature, and societal information, based on individual circumstances, regardless of reading ability or disability. About the Job In this role, you will be responsible for the production of tactile special products, ensuring that approved designs are implemented and kept up to date. You will work on developing and distributing material packages to vision centers and compile the materials included in the Braille Club for mailing. The work also includes vision-adapted games, where you will prepare materials for sale and develop documentation for production with external suppliers. Additionally, you will compile and prepare materials for tactile calendars and contribute to the production of Braille literature. Furthermore, you will manage the sales and distribution of Braille books and conduct delivery checks of prints to ensure that the final products meet the required quality. You will be part of the Media and Services unit, which currently consists of 22 colleagues. Our office is located in Malmö, and we offer some opportunities for remote work. We are looking for someone who has: • A pedagogical education, such as preschool teacher training, teacher training, or special education training • Practical work experience in pedagogical adaptation of materials • Excellent language skills in Swedish It is an advantage if you have knowledge or experience in: • Education in special pedagogy • Experience with our target group, which includes individuals with visual impairments or blindness • Experience working in adapted primary schools or equivalent • Experience working with production/distribution/case management systems You should also: • Have the ability to analyze arising problems and identify appropriate solutions in a structured manner. • Be able to independently initiate and drive tasks without the need for detailed instructions. • Plan, execute, and ensure the quality of your own work with a high degree of responsibility. • Contribute constructively to a workgroup through clear communication, attentiveness, and coordination towards common goals.
