You will lead and coach the team, ensure that delivery plans are followed, and drive active improvement initiatives. Your Main Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development - Lead, motivate, and develop the production team - Oversee scheduling and ensure a safe working environment - Foster a culture focused on responsibility, collaboration, and improvements Production Management - Ensure that production delivers according to schedule - Monitor key performance indicators such as lead time, efficiency, and delivery precision - Address any deviations and drive improvement actions Quality & Improvement Work - Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues - Actively work with Lean, 5S, and standardized work methods Processes & Flow Optimization - Identify and address obstacles in production - Drive projects for more efficient workflows and increased productivity - Collaborate with Engineering on new products and methods Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with warehousing, logistics, quality, and engineering to ensure a smooth overall flow - Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) and production start-ups Your Profile - Engineering degree or equivalent experience in production/industry - At least 5 years of experience in production management, preferably within electronics or a similar high-tech environment - Experience with Lean and improvement work - Proficient in ERP systems (Sage X3) - Fluent in Swedish and English Personal Attributes - Confident and motivating leader - Structured, analytical, and results-oriented - Hands-on when necessary and adept at solving daily operational issues - Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across departments Smartoptics Offers: A friendly and inclusive culture where we encourage growth and innovation.
