Do you want to help shape the future of the global mining and minerals industry? About the Business Kiruna Malmförädling’s mission is to process ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are screening, concentrating, and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, four of which are part of the main process, while the other four are support sections within quality, technical and process development, material processes, and maintenance. Your Role As the Shift Maintenance Manager (Electrical/Automation, K5 Operations), your primary responsibility is to lead and organize maintenance activities across various shifts within the operation. Your role focuses on ensuring that equipment and facilities are in good condition, minimizing faults and interruptions, and ensuring that maintenance operations are efficient. You will belong to the new maintenance organization led by the Section Manager for Maintenance and be part of the Operational Maintenance group alongside the Production Manager for Tribology, Production Manager for Inspection, and Production Manager for Maintenance Quality Service. You will report to the Group Manager for Operational Maintenance. Your Responsibilities: - Personnel and work environment responsibility for K5 Shift Maintenance, which currently consists of 20 shift-working electrical/automation technicians. - Establishing and managing the budget within your area, following up on it, and ensuring efficient use of resources. - Responsible for planning and distributing the maintenance team's work that is not of an urgent nature across different shifts. - Ensuring that the competency needs of shift maintenance are developed. - Ensuring that maintenance work is carried out according to established quality standards and complies with applicable safety regulations. - Regularly communicating with senior managers, coordinating work with other sections/groups/teams, and ensuring a smooth flow of information and collaboration to achieve common goals. - Identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the shift maintenance operation. This may include analyzing data and identifying opportunities for efficiency, implementing new technologies or methods, and collaborating with other managers and stakeholders to improve operations. What You Bring We are looking for an engaged and driven leader who serves as a good role model. You enjoy working with people, are present in the operation, take great responsibility, and are confident in your role as a leader. You are motivated by uplifting and leading others, coaching them to achieve both their own and the organization’s goals. You have an organizational eye and find it easy to prioritize and structure your tasks. You should have the desire to develop your own leadership skills, and you will receive leadership training and support in your role. - Approved high school diploma - Electrical/Automation education is a requirement; authorization A for electrical installation from the Electrical Safety Authority is an advantage. - Previous experience in a leadership position or leadership is an advantage. - B driver's license - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
