About this role
Do you want to be part of the team that builds Karlskrona's landmarks?
Roads & Construction South, a region operating in Skåne, Småland, Blekinge, and Gotland. We carry out land development, construct and build roads, bridges, railways, water and sewage facilities, ports, and more – regardless of the project, the goal is always to deliver a product that makes both our customers and ourselves proud and satisfied. Together, we build for a better society, and we always do so safely.
We are a stable organization recruiting to meet current and upcoming infrastructure projects. As our new Production Manager, you will have the opportunity to grow with us as we undertake projects such as Karlskrona's new access road.
Are you passionate about leadership and production planning?
As a Production Manager/Site Manager with us, you will be a central part of a close-knit project team. The role is broad and involves working from bids, early stages, and being responsible for resource and production planning, financial management, quality, and workplace safety issues. Furthermore, you will plan and manage the progress of production while enjoying motivating and developing your team – together achieving set goals.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Lead production on-site and hold production meetings.
- Coordinate resources, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Establish and follow up on project and production schedules.
- Responsible for financial follow-up: reconciliations, changes, and forecasts.
- Collaborate closely with the project team and the client, driving improvements in work methods, quality, and safety.
The position is based in Karlskrona, but there may be opportunities to participate in projects in Kalmar or Växjö in the future.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience as a supervisor or production manager in the construction or civil engineering industry. Experience in road and civil engineering projects or land and infrastructure is an advantage.
- Holds a degree in construction engineering (e.g., a bachelor's degree) or equivalent experience.
- Is confident in your leadership and accustomed to driving production.
- Is meticulous, structured, and results-oriented with a focus on quality, environment, and safety.
- Wants to provide your team with the right conditions and contribute to a positive work culture.
